Leishmania Infection-Induced Proteolytic Processing of SIRPα in Macrophages’

リーシュマニア原虫に感染したマクロファージにおいて、抑制性受容体SIRPαの発現が変化することは知られていましたが、実際には細胞内外の両方で切断されることが今回明らかとなりました。細胞外で切断された際に生じる可溶性SIRPαは原虫感染マウス血清中でも上昇しており、炎症のバイオマーカーとしての利用も期待できます。
