細胞の分化において重要な役割を果たすサイトカインであるBAFFですが、B細胞の発生初期、つまり骨髄におけるB細胞発育への影響については議論が残ります。今回、骨髄での未成熟B細胞の発生において、BAFFがケモカイン受容体CXCR5の発現に重要であることを明らかにしました。
